@ClayTravis This controversy has brought out a lot of “experts” confidently commenting on something they know next to nothing about. Many probably didn’t know what a red card was before last week. I’m no soccer savant but seems like the Renaldo situation and this one are apples to oranges.
@SaraEisen Ethics and fair play. I’ll be rooting for the US tonight. Glad we have Balogun back. He never should have received a red card. But politics have cast a cloud over his return, and therefore the result will be questioned. The old adage about two wrongs not making a right applies.
@krassenstein I generally support your point of view, but I ain’t rooting against my country. The quest for more Twitter engagement from the anti-Trump crowd (of which I am a proud member) sometimes leads you to say dumb stuff.
@gtconway3d There’s so, so much to criticize about Trump. But showing video the morning after July 4 fireworks ain’t it. Takes away credibility from the countless legit issues.
@realMaalouf I’m no fan of Mamdani’s politics but it’s idiotic to claim that Muslims should not serve in government based on their religion. There are Christians and Jews who have done horrible things in the name of religion and we don’t disqualify all Christians and Jews because of that.
@realsashastone They’re not rooting for America to fail. They’re rooting for Trump to fail in his effort to change what this country has stood for over 250 years. Simply, he’s corrupt and bad for America.
