It didn’t “fail to” as if it were some terrible clerical error. It *chose* not to after reviewing the evidence provided by police. Maybe that decision was wrong - but this report does not substantiate that. Very misleading headline/tweet

@timleunig A work colleague offered to sell me a 2-bed flat in Streatham in 1995 for a very affordable £60k. I turned her down. Sigh… 😞 1998 probably the low point for Streatham as a desirable place to live. And London population still falling, I think, or at least only bottoming out

@Gilesyb I think the “don’t need to worry about GRN” take is one you might need to review quite soon. They are the natural mid-term protest vote for young metropolitan England and those voters can be very fickle
