@AlboMP@AustralianLabor Too little, too late. This was the cheapest Diesel I could find at 279.9. Stop playing politics to attract the inner city voters and start governing for the whole country.
@LiberalAus We get it. You have a great message. You're issue is the messengers. The party needs renewal and all the frontline need to accept that and take a step back.
@JEChalmers How many homes have actually been built to add to the supply needed to satisfy demand that will be generated from October 1 without driving prices higher?
@AlboMP Here go house prices through the roof again! You can't keep incentivising purchases without having the supply needed to meet the demand. That's economics-101.
@Bowenchris As one of the world's largest producers of Uranium, coal and gas, it's a crime that you and your government are madly driving energy prices up to reduce Australia's emissions when we produce 1% of global emissions. China and India are laughing at us.
@Bowenchris People in my area are listening to him because career politicians like you, with the help of two local career politicians, approved offshore wind turbines iff our coast as part of your renewable power hoax.
@ausstockchick Interest rates are a terrible way to control inflation. They punish mortgagees and renters, and benefit people with savings that have already paid their homes off. A better and more equitable way to control spending g would be to have a variable GST rate up to 20%.
@nickpmclaren The Mercury is dead. We need to let it die. I held out as long as I could but had to cancel my subscription. It became an ad-rag and the journalism was shockingly bad and had a definite ideological angle.
@Peter_Fitz No for a while. We know the electric cars will blow the doors off the petrol cars, but racing is as much about the sounds and smells. The other issue is for endurance races like the Bathurst 1000 is you can't get a battery to do that distance and you can't wait hours to charge.
@spenderallegra@BloombergNEF If nuclear which produces no carbon emissions is bad for decarbonisation, what real benefit are renewables if AEMO says we will need to build 26 new gas fired plants to support renewables over the next 25 years? Is AEMO wrong or is carbon not the real issue but rather ideology?
@AngryGoddessx AUKUS should never have happened. We have committed $400B to a 40 y/o system built in the US when we would have had the latest and greatest from France for $90B. This was 100% politics over what was best for the country.
@DavidShoebridge This is a disgrace for our country. The only thing McBride is guilty of is embarrassing the government and military, just like Assange did to the USA.
