I think the way that this classroom is set up is very interesting. You don't see a lot of middle school rooms with corners for students to relax. I do believe this is important though and its something I'll look at for my future class. #EDUC200#03Fall21 https://t.co/gDDEhHVfKE

I think our discussion on IEPs is so important to learn. I never realized how similar it is to have special needs students in regular classrooms. It opened my eyes to how things are supposed to work in a classroom. #EDUC200#03Fall21
@GeorgiaOrfanid1 It is kind of crazy to see how many disabilities are taken into account within the school districts. It was also interesting to hear how everyone else’s schools helped/handled students with disabilities during class. #EDUC200#03Fall21
@TibbsReagan It is cool to see how the domains link up to each other in different ways. There are so many aspects to a child's learning process and these help a lot with understand what to do. #EDUC200#03Fall21
@Gabbymilllerrr1 Redlining is something I never knew about before the reading before class. It was definitely interesting to see how it still effects how people live today, especially in the school system. #EDUC200#03Fall21
In class today we talked about redlining and how it affects children in school. Most of the terms we have learned about are affected by redlining (the Matthew effect, equality, etc.).We also swapped groups today so may Des Moines Iowa rest in peace :( #EDUC200#03Fall21
@AmandaPento The visual you put is really helpful in understanding the difference between these two terms. I agree that they can be easily confused but are important to know the difference and when to use them as a teacher! #EDUC200#03Fall21
Today in class we briefly talked about a past student showing a black piece of paper to represent existentialism. Something two students said that sparked my interest was how if a kid doesn't have the desire or curiosity to learn they will play instead.
@HunterLaFrenie1 This was a very fun and helpful activity because it got us to really think about the different philosophies in a different way. It engaged us in a interactive way while interacting with each other. #EDUC200#03Fall21
@emthompson_educ I agree that this article shows dependability yet i also believe it can show meaning. The fact that they had such a rough start to getting gold clearly meant a lot to them. There are many norms that this article can fit. #EDUC200#03Fall21
@MackLacksEdu This article also shows meaning. With these two norms being connected the issue with black history is important to him. It makes an impact in his and others lives just as it is meaningful to him. #EDUC200#03Fall21
Victor Hedman & Steven Stamkos stated how playing & winning in front of their fans and family meant the world to them. This expresses the meaning of having people there to support them especially after losing the previous year. #EDUC200#03Fall21
