I applaud @JohnBrennan for telling the truth about #UAP#UFO, without actually saying it. We need more journalists fighting for transparency on this subject. Kudos to @tylercowen
BIG STATEMENT today from Fmr. CIA Director @JohnBrennan to @tylercowen: "I think some of the phenomena that we're gonna be seeing continues to be unexplained... [1/2]
Federally funded research and development centers occupy a unique position of public trust.
These entities often receive privileged access to federal facilities, U.S. government programs/activities, classified information, sensitive data, personnel, and government-funded research.
They cannot become private vaults for federal records—especially records Congress has directed to be identified, preserved, reviewed, and transferred for public release.
To add to this, about 3 years ago, a very senior intel leader described SK to me as (paraphrasing from memory) “The guy who gets called in when they want an endeavor to fail by design.”
Right after the confrontation between @GallaudetTim & Sean Kirkpatrick, I reported the following information from people who are still active at AARO. The problem was not the entire office, just a few bad apples.
@neiltyson As someone who’s worked with senior US government officials on the UFO topic for years, I can confidently state that no one should trust what you have to say on this issue. Let “disclosure” play out before you feign credibility on the subject matter.
Absolutely no one should take @neiltyson seriously on anything remotely adjacent to UAP / UFO’s. I know personally that he refused an opportunity to meet with senior government officials who were advocating for transparency on this issue. As Kristin says, he has spent his entire career dismissing and mocking the subject. I don’t know if his intentions are knowingly malicious, but the effect of his behavior has hindered public progress on this issue. Furthermore, he conflates advanced, non-human technologies with “aliens from another galaxy”. This is the same tactic employed by the Pentagon’s OUSD(I&S), their PAO, former AARO director, and CIA DS&T. Throwing the baby out with the bath water / guilt by association / straw man / red herring. He sure is a fantastic communicator though. Great on television.
A note to my former colleagues in the media booking Neil deGrasse Tyson this week:
He is the loudest, most high-profile dismisser of people who report alien encounters. He has spent years mocking them. And now he's selling a book about alien encounters.
Ask him about that.
@AndrewR1404@MattWalshBlog@Mind_Is_Rising Lue was being pretty diplomatic with that tweet. He gave a statement to Jeff Schogol at Task & Purpose this morning where he echoed exactly what you just said. I suspect that will be published shortly.
@timburchett@realDonaldTrump I applaud your hard work, Congressman. As you know, the American People will never be satisfied until the White House officially acknowledges the existence of programs involved with studying retrieved, non-human technology. Keep up the great work. You're a good man.
To journalists, news networks and reporters covering the #UFO file release today: Avoid the trap of saying "The UFO files have been released." They haven't. A very tiny subset of carefully screened and curated files, some of which had already been public for decades, have been released. Unless and until the Executive Branch officially acknowledges its decades-long research into recovered, non-human technology and biologics, any releases are a lukewarm PR effort, intended to release the pressure valve. If you are lazy, you'll oblige them. If you want the truth, I can introduce you to very senior US government officials who have sacrificed their careers to blow the whistle about what's really been happening in their offices and agencies.
If something important has been withheld on what I'll call for simplicity's sake "the UFO subject" we have no idea at all what the effect of this missing information about our universe and our world has done to our psyches and our society. Could it be that many of our problems, problems we cast about blaming on all sorts of imagined factors, in fact stem from a flawed or incomplete picture of reality? From an invisible chain reaction unleashed by basic intellectual deficits?
I think it's very possible.
The CIA used a secret new tool, “Ghost Murmur,” to locate a downed U.S. airman in Iran, its first real-world use.
It can detect a human heartbeat from miles away using AI and advanced sensors:
“If your heart is beating, we will find you.”

Burlison's planning to "work with the White House on language" for updated UAPDA
Who?
Rep. @EricBurlison (R-MO) — Oversight Committee & Secrets Task Force
Ask a Pol asks:
The annual NDAA — or National Defense Authorization Act — season’s coming soon. Do you think there might be more support for something like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Sen. Mike Rounds’ UAP Disclosure Act this time around?
Key Burlison:
“I do,” @RepEricBurlison exclusively tells Ask a Pol UAP. “The time that I spent [last year] talking to these Committee Chairs in both the House and Senate has at least loosened the soil. So I think that’ll give me an opportunity when I go back and have the conversation, it’s not going to be a fresh topic to them.”
