ಸನ್ಮಾನ್ಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಶ್ರೀ ನರೇಂದ್ರ ಮೋದಿಜೀಯವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟವು ದೇಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಜನೆಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ʼಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಕ (ELI) ಎನ್ನುವ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಇಂದು ಅನುಮೋದನೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

99,446 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚದ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ಮುಂದಿನ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 3.5 ಕೋಟಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಠಿಸುವ ಗುರಿ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶಗಳ ಸೃಜನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಭದ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಪಡೆದವರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಸೃಜಿಸಿದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಧನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

Under the visionary leadership of Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji, the Union Cabinet today approved the landmark Employment Linked Incentive (ELI) scheme aimed at significantly boosting job creation across the country.

With an outlay of ₹99,446 crore, the scheme targets the creation of 3.5 crore new jobs over the next two years. For the first time, both first-time employees and job-creating enterprises will be incentivized, marking a transformative step towards expanding employment opportunities and ensuring social security for workers.
