Er betonte die historischen und kulturellen Verbindungen zwischen Italien und Russland und kritisierte die Sanktionspolitik. Al Bano fragte, warum man Russland Sanktionen auferlege, und rief dazu auf, stattdessen den Dialog wieder zu öffnen und die „verdammte“ Krieg in der Ukraine zu beenden. Er bezeichnete sich selbst als Mann des Friedens.

The Jacques Baud Interviews: Condemned for Speaking the Objective Truth

On Saturday, October 24, I travelled to Brussels, Belgium. My mission: to interview Jacques Baud, the retired Swiss Colonel and veteran intelligence officer sanctioned by the European Union for telling the truth about the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

Jacques and I met in the home of one of his friends and close supporters, and over the course of several hours engaged in a wide ranging conversation about his life and work, and the consequences of being sanctioned by the European Union, accused of being a Russian propagandist.

The interview, recorded by my daughter, Victoria and edited by Alexandra Madornaya, will be released in two parts.

Part One will explore the life and times of Jacques Baud, tracing his work as a Swiss Strategic Intelligence Officer, United Nations Peacekeeper, and NATO Humanitarian specialist. This interview underpins the reality that Jacques Baud is the furthest thing from a Russian propagandist. Trained in the US and UK, Jacques is an intelligence professional whose objectivity and adherence to fact-based analysis is backed by a track record of proven performance at the highest levels of international policy making.

Part Two will dive into Jacques writing and podcasts done after retirement. It is work that had him targeted by the European Union for sanctions which, when taken at face value, were tantamount to a death sentence. In a recent review of his case by the European Union, Jacques’ sanctions were extended. The reason why? He was too neutral and too objective in his assessments, and as such his work would help Russia and hinder the European Union.

Condemned to die because he was too objective, and too neutral.

It is my honor and privilege to publish these interviews, and to further the work of Jacques Baud, a heroic man on the frontlines of the fight for free speech.

Also, Donbass and Novorossiya were never part of Ukraine before the Bolsheviks included them in the Ukrainian SSR. Same with Crimea before Khrushchev "gave" it to Ukraine in 1954.

"Ukraine" for most of its history was part of the Polish- Lithuanian empire. So generalizing about "Eastern European borders changed all the time" means exactly what?

The population of Donbass when the US. orchestrated its Maidan coup in 2014 was 85% ethnic Russian. The Banderite regime that seized power in that coup immediately set about ethnically cleansing those historically Russian lands of ethnic Russians.

You do realize, I assume, that Western mass media are mouthpieces of the U.S-centered empire's military and intelligence apparatus and their job is to fill Western populations' minds with factually ridiculous narratives..

The left bank of the Dnieper River was part of Russia from the 17th century until Lenin drew Donbass and Novorossiya into the Ukrainian SSR in 1922.

When the USSR dissolved in 1991, those historically Russian lands remained with what had now become the independent state known as Ukraine.

Khrushchev giving Crimea to the Ukrainian SSR in 1954 is well known. The Ukrainian SSR being part of the USSR at the time, this change amounted to an administrative transfer.

The breakup of the USSR into its constituent SSRs in 1991 resulted in similar situations where ethnic-Russian enclaves found themselves suddenly living in countries that had disassociated themselves from Russia overnight.

COLUMN: RUTTE’S HIGHWAY TO THE HELL

BREAKING NEWS. Mark Rutte, het gezicht van politieke vervreemding in Nederland, is nu officieel de nieuwe oorlogskoning van de NAVO. Een ongekozen politicus, jarenlang meester in uitstel, vaagtaal, leugens en bestuurlijk opknippen van problemen, wordt plots de generaal van een bondgenootschap dat op de rand van de afgrond balanceert. “Ukraine’s path to NATO is irreversible,” verklaarde hij afgelopen week en met die woorden duwde hij de wereld weer een stap dichter bij de nucleaire afgrond.

Want wat betekent dat? Geen weg terug. Geen diplomatie. Geen compromis. Alleen maar oorlog. En die oorlog wordt niet gevoerd door Rutte zelf, of door de technocraten in Brussel, of door de lobbyisten die zich op de NAVO-toppen verzadigen aan foie gras en fondsen. Die oorlog wordt gevoerd door jongens van 18, door soldaten die net hun school hebben afgemaakt, door gewone mensen die worden opgeroepen om te vechten voor een zaak die niet de hunne is.

Het is een oude truc: politieke elites vechten hun oorlogen nooit zelf. Ze praten over “onze veiligheid”, maar het is altijd hún veiligheid, hun macht, hun positie, hun privileges. En als het uit de hand loopt, vluchten ze weg in privéjets en bunkers, terwijl de gewone burgers het lood mogen slikken.

Rutte’s roekeloze vastberadenheid om Oekraïne in te lijven bij de NAVO is geen diplomatie, maar een Highway to Hell. Wie gelooft dat dit pad vrede of stabiliteit brengt, is blind voor de geschiedenis: geen enkele grootmacht die zo wordt uitgedaagd, zal zonder slag of stoot opzij stappen. Zeker Rusland niet. Wat we riskeren, is een oorlog die niet meer te stoppen valt.

Intussen zwijgen de mediaprofeten. Ze juichen het toe. Ze spreken over “onze morele plicht” en “de Europese waarden”. Maar nergens hoor je het woord “nucleaire winter”. Nergens hoor je over de levens die worden verwoest, over de kinderen die nooit meer een vader terugzien.

Dus jongeren, opgelet! laten we dit duidelijk stellen:
🔴 Dit is niet ónze oorlog.
🔴 Dit is niet jullie belang.
🔴 Dit is hun spel, hun gok met jullie leven.

Zeg dus nee tegen de oorlogszucht van een ongekozen NAVO-leider. Zeg nee tegen de illusie van veiligheid die de elite je verkoopt. Want dit pad leidt niet naar veiligheid of vrede. Niet naar jullie toekomst. Het leidt naar de hel.
