@VampykinzVT@Twitch The most I've seen to combat it is if a lurker interacts somehow (saying hi, !lurk, point redemption, sub renewal, etc). The bots are starting to do that by saying hi so it's only a matter of time before twitch middles that pot too for our lurking loves 😭
I just want to say. From the absolute bottom of my heart. Thank you for being here. I know it’s hard, there’s a million reasons for you to give up. But you keep fighting anyway. I’m proud of you, and my DMs are always open.
Twitch has updated their Monetized Streamer Agreement however this "notice" does not show you the actual differences. Let me go through them for you.
TL;DR: Wording related to Twitch Partner and Affiliate have been removed preparing for the new monetization rules which allow everyone access to bits and subs.
Prelude - Removed mentions to "earning revenue" and changed it to "give access to" monetization tools. Also removed references to Twitch Affiliate and Partner.
Eligibility and Compliance - Removes mentions to Twitch Affiliate and Partner. Also changes the wording from "ad" to "Advertisements" confirming that ALL monetized streamers will display ads.
Program Revenue - No significant changes. Some wording, but the meaning has not changed.
Payment and Reporting - Significant changes to Section 4.1 adding mentions to Spendable Balance (which will be the only option for Non-affiliates). Additionally, this confirms that you can't get a payout unless you are an Affiliate or Partner.
Probably the most important change in the whole agreement: Twitch intrduces a statute of limitations of 2 years. If you do not log in for 2 years ALL revenue can be claimed by Twitch - as I predicted when they announced the new monetization rules.
Term and Termination - Removes any mention to Twitch Affiliate and Partner and replaces it with anyone who has a monetization agreement.
It also removes two clauses from the termination clause (6.3) which did not allow you to do anything negative towards Twitch, Amazon or their respective affiliates including but not limited to:
- Ridicule, scandale, disrepute, or contempt
- Disparage, defame, sully, or compromise the goodwill
- injure, hinder, or interfere with business interests
Abitration - The arbitration rules were reformatted, moving the clause about only seeking arbitration in the courts of San Francisco from the section on "Governing Law" to the section on "Arbitration"
Tails invites Sonic onto the show to unlock the mysteries of life! Or…a few tips and tricks to make life easier, at least. But are they really sharing words of wisdom, or are they just goofing around!?
This person came in last night on stream.
Not only did the ignore my chat rules AND me asking on stream to not be lewd. The proceed to get progressively worse.
When a streamer ask's you to stop. It isn't to be funny or ignored. Please respect the streamer!
