My anti-"gene therapy" brother spent 2 months face down in the ICU, intubated and sedated. Almst died 16 times. Four of my friends weren't so lucky. But SURE, the rare adverse jab reaction is worse.🙄

@theshireofmark @SciRocker When I got married, we received a laundry basket filled with the kind of stuff you mentioned. Laundry and dish soap, a basic set of dishes, flatware, cups, and glasses.. spices, a 2 qt glass measuring "cup", wooden spoons, pans, etc.

It was by far the most useful gift we got. 👍🏼

Thanks. You're right. Nowhere *near* out of the woods yet. After several days of baby steps toward healing, today he's had a fever of over a hundred and they're trying to figure out how to bring it down.

Cautious optimism, I believe, is the best way I can put it.

@e_longhorn @StevijoPayne In the thread from his wife, it's all about praying - but never for the doctors or nurses working 24 hrs/day to keep him alive, or the scientists who've worked for decades to bring about such an effective vaccine.

IMHO, science isn't the enemy of God, it's part of his creation.

Taking unnecessary risks, then expecting God to do the heavy lifting to save you from your own stupidity seems like the ultimate in sacrilege to me.

@rreedsing My grandma survived the 1918 pandemic as a 10 yr-old little girl, but she lost her whole family to it. Came home from school one day and her mom, dad, and all of her siblings were dead. I can't even fathom the horror she must hv felt.

Wearing a mask seems such a simple thing. 😷

It'll be a long time before I give him sh¡t for nearly dying from what was 100% preventable, for his believing ALL of the disinfo and NONE of the facts. Sadly, it was also his church saying no need to vax since only Jesus heals (his last text to me).
