The Parks Department is hosting a ribbon cutting for the newly renovated Ridgeview Park at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 31. The park has added over an acre since moving down the street from its original location, which was prompted by the creation of the new Highway 72 extension.

The Parks Dept. is hosting a neighborhood meeting for residents in the Coventry Park area to view 3 proposed designs for a new playground. Residents are encouraged to come to the playground area between 5-7 p.m. Thurs., Aug. 1, to offer their input. For more info, call 426-6901.

Trevor Pelc gave his Eagle Scout project proposal presentation to the Park Board last night. Trevor is planning to do improvements to the Green Acres ball field. The park board unanimously approved Trevor’s project and he will start things this fall. Great job Trevor!!

This little neighborhood park has gotten quite the face lift this summer. Murry Park has gotten a new swing set and a new gazebo. Park staff worked with Eagle Scouts Erich Baur, Seth Burton & Jeremiah Jeffers on this project. #rollamoparks #murrypark
