A message to all young athletes. I didn't play my first game of carpet bowls until I was 52. At 56, I won my first match. At 58, I lost my bowls in a backstreet game of cribbage. At 62, I met a fun-loving divorcee who owns (outright) a "ride on" mower. Never, ever, ever give up.
I applaud the Prime Minister for calling for honesty in politics but if we now face tax hikes & cuts to public services to fill a £20bn black hole in the public finances we must have an honest discussion about the negative impact of Brexit & the role it has played in creating it
I’m gonna sound real old and moany but I concur. There’s something about the reasons WHY people want to become DJs that doesn’t always sit well with me. A love of music is at the tail end. A lot of new cats are just social butterflies
🤷🏾♂️ just my two bobs worth ❤️🙏🏾😅
Dream DJing gig 1996. Warehouse. Start at 1am. Play driving dub-house for five hours to people on Class A's. Finish 5am.
Dream gig 2023. Food court. Start 5pm. Play tasteful deep house (and records I dismissed as "shit" in 96) to people eating tacos. Finish 10.30pm.
Gove moaning about the possibility of 16 year olds being given the vote.
I would ban everyone over 50 from voting.
It’s ridiculous that youth are condemned to live in a post-Brexit little Englander world by shivering, change-aversive idiots, most of whom are already dead.
Saddened to see “anyone but England” attitude of fellow Scots today.Particularly as someone with genuine affinity to Denmark (I nearly bought a pair of china dogs at a Carnoustie jumble sale in '93 that the vendor believed were "in all probability" from Denmark or Linlithgow)🇩🇰🐕
