As we get ready for Titans football with Cam Ward at QB. I’d like to reminisce on all the idiots who came after me for my Levis take. Wish I could show more but some people had deleted tweets or accounts, huh 👀 anyway I dedicate my pettiness to the great @DRVawl
This honestly feels like Trotz is trying to revert us back to the old days when he coached. Defense and goaltending. Trying to get up by a goal and hoping they don’t score again. This isn’t that kind of NHL anymore
Trotz admits the center depth (O'Reilly, Svechkov, Haula, McCarron) isn't the strongest, so they will have to win other ways. Tough defense, reliable & safe center play, and score from the wings.
We needed a highly skilled guy. Hagens was there and we do this? I don’t know how Martin will turn out, but I’m reading a lot of “raw talent”. At 5 I don’t want that. I want a guy who could potentially push his way into the lineup because he’s that good with the puck on his stick
@AngryPredsFan I was literally ranting about this last week to a coworker who doesn’t know hockey. Just to explain how what could have been for us. This draft haunts me to this day
Not only is that cool as hell but also he did it all with one team. Never left. Never sought a better place to chase the Stanley Cup. He stayed with the Caps, won’t them their first Cup, might win another this year, and makes history. #Gr8ness
How about this?
Not only did the #Gr8 score his 895th goal in the same amount of games (1,487) as The Great One reached 894, but they both did it against the same opponent.

This cycle should be what scares fans. Do I think Ran was the guy? Eh, not necessarily but it’s the siding with one and firing the other over and over again. Now we’ll hire a GM that isn’t getting final say on the roster according to reports. Are we the Bears of the South?
2022: sided with Mike Vrabel, fired Jon Robinson.
2023: forced marriage of Ran Carthon and Mike Vrabel.
2024: sided with Ran Carthon, fired Mike Vrabel.
2024: let Ran Carthon pick Brian Callahan.
2025: sided with Brian Callahan, fired Ran Carthon.
A truly lost franchise.
