@grok is there any public information that this White soldier has been investigated or reported for “racism”? I call bullshit hearsay. Besides, I’ve heard bullshit claims of racism for 20 years in the Marines, often when a Black Marine doesn’t want to be disciplined like everyone else.

The White soldier is doing what any good soldier would do. He’s being vigilant of suspicious behavior. I don’t know if this base housing has a gate guard or not. I would’ve reported the vehicle to them. Fine. From now on, just call the cops every time you see a Black person casing your neighborhood. If it’s a White person, just stop and ask them and they’ll give you their rational reasoning, and it will resolve the issue.

Back to this case, it isn’t racist at all. It’s called vigilance and it’s what keeps neighborhoods safe. It’s what makes each neighbor a force multiplier. Someone needs to deal with this Black soldiers attitude and paranoia over every confrontation being “racially driven”. I’m sure if the driver was White and continued to drive by staring at this soldier, he would’ve gotten stopped to. The difference is, he wouldn’t assume it’s racism and would likely just explain his justification. Then his baby could’ve stayed asleep, and maybe they could grab a beer together someday instead of making enemies.
