At the first Full Council meeting of the civic year Cllr @Lisa_Smart successfully put forward a Motion which opposes the reduction in service at Offerton Fire Station, with Offerton Cllr Will Dawson. The proposed reduction in service could literally mean life and death.

I could hear the cheering & honking of car horns when the final whistle blew, you could see & hear fireworks and City fans singing for miles, it was amazing. Not a fan myself but the other half was ecstatic & in tears!

@arob477 @Lisa_Smart@ChapelChadkirk@StockportMBC I don’t but when someone is trying to track a culvert they use this dye, I suspect it is that but haven’t been told anything specific. Im told it is harmless albeit it looks alarming. Its been happening quite a bit recently as the culverts are not properly mapped. Hope that helps

Just heard that the council has had to close Bredbury Library due to a power failure. Open+ won’t be available this evening & tomorrow morning. They are working to get it fixed as soon as possible & when I hear more I will share it here. #Bredbury#BredburyGreen#Romiley
