After five blessed years of service in Asia, and 25 hrs. of travel, yesterday, I came home to the US. So much life left in Korea, Japan, China, Mongolia and Taiwan. So many memories made. So many people who added value to our lives. Lisa and I are very very thankful to Jesus.

Re Solomon’s inglorious descent from faithfulness to utter idolatry. EGW: “It is not the empty cup that we have difficulty in carrying; it is the cup full to the brim that must be carefully balanced...Prosperity...is most dangerous to spiritual life” (PK 60). God over His gifts.

In the story of the healing of the man with the withered hand, we’re told Jesus looked “around at them with anger, grieved at their hardness of heart” for him (Mark 3:5). The Savior’s anger was at their indifference. The only anger without sin is the anger against sin.

Yesterday, we made official our decision to return to the US, in June. Lisa’s mother is not doing well, and our ministry contribution has been limited, of late. We’ll miss Asia. Help us pray the Lord will find us a place of service back home. We desire to be useful for His honor.
