@KatieJRogers @bronzebust It’s definitely regarded as a suburb. You can be on the road for 40 minutes from Oak Park in the summer, which begins at the western border of CHI. Measuring suburbs by time is too subjective. Summer commute times versus winter commute times even differ due to summer tourism.

@inboundike @mipolitico Sadly, that is all we will see about her from the Mayor’s camp. She needs to double down on coming into a state office completely in disarray after a multiyear budget standoff. She won a lot of support trying to clean things up.

@JeffO773 Philadelphia is a great city and it has a young heart with all the colleges there. With the affordability crisis, it has the bones and infrastructure to grow, especially as the city is nearing the end of their pension debt repayment. I think Philly is in for a big upswing.

@aaron_renn I do not see a scenario where American de-hubs O’Hare. I believe Kirby wants UA to run ORD exclusively so he can Delta the airline and jack prices up, but there are still many that are AA loyal. Even if United has greater customer loyalty in CHI, Chicagoans also are loyal to AA.
