Start over NOW. The gospel says you can. “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. Old things have passed away and all things have become new” (Paul). You never have to be stuck, because every moment is flooded with unearned grace. Every day is new with mercy, fresh with love, pristine with compassion. You cannot exhaust God's faithfulness to you.

You ARE forgiven.

You ARE clean.

You ARE loved and accepted.

Nothing done to you before NOW defines you.

Nothing you have done before NOW defines you.

His love defines you.

Right NOW, and the next right NOW, and the next, is a new beginning.

Right NOW is the launching pad into innocence and righteousness and love.

Do not rehearse your failures in your mind or with your words. Give neither thought nor voice to your sins once they are confessed to Jesus. That's the past, and you don't live in the past.

Do not rehearse the wrongs done to you. Give no emotional space to anger or hatred or resentment for violations committed against you. Those things no longer have any power over you.

Start over NOW.
