@Sebbywebz @OrbisAetherum Spamming base attacks until your better moves recharge is Not the same as attacking on a timer. ATB combat was like playing chess with a timer. Final Fantasy has descended into button mashing slop, akin to Dynasty Warriors.

@Sebbywebz This game was Awesome with how many playable characters you could pick, and the combo attacks were cool for the time. I have it downloaded on my PS5 just haven't gotten around to starting it again.

@Sebbywebz Man, we used to LIVE for those CGI cutscenes. Kids today can't comprehend grinding for hours to beat the boss and get the 30 second cutscene 😎

@Sebbywebz @oceanz0602 There are ways to add "more" without derailing the entire story. You can add relevant backstory without lore dumps. You can spice up the old mini games without adding soul-crushing new ones. It is possible to do all that and still make it "new".

@Sebbywebz @SquareEnix Square/Final Fantasy should have known who its core fan base was and continued to give them what they want. If you want new fans, make a new series. New fans shouldn't be gained at the expense of your original fans. As a fan, I felt totally forgotten until E33 came out.

@Ramblin2RedDirt Psalms 56:3 for me. Put simply, when I am afraid I will trust in the Lord. I highlighted it in my childhood Bible and would remember it when I was afraid. Later on, when my Great grandmother passed, my Nana and I discovered in her Bible she had circled the same verse with a pen.

@Ramblin2RedDirt If you do one day make a barndo, make sure you have a substantial in-ground storm shelter built as well. You know how Kansas is 🌪

@Ramblin2RedDirt The more people around, the higher the cost of living. A $150k house in your town may be 25%-50% more affordable in a nearby tiny town. And people are building $50k "barndominiums" and "shouses" all over the place. With the right cheap piece of land, solitude is within reach!
