It's a tough one for Cymru in that I still think Ioan Cunningham is a good coach and could've turned things around with this side, but he clearly doesn't come out from this contracts debacle well and a fresh start is needed.

To scapegoat the coach rather than a senior manager who had responsibility for the negotiations lacks integrity.
I had high hopes for the new Board and CEO. That was sorely misplaced.

He’s leaning on a quasi-judicial review set up by his board of events that occurred during his time on the board. That’s before we raise what this says about his underlying beliefs and attitudes. Not good!

Spent many hours negotiating the first regional plan with David. We agreed the need but only sometimes the outcome. That’s life. What David had over the Lewis Philips era was his commitment to find the best solution for Welsh rugby. His 2014 manifesto is still worth a read.
