There is a country that has:
The largest prison population in the world.
The most expensive military in history.
The most foreign military bases.
The most coups on its record.
And the most lawyers explaining why none of this is a crime.
And somehow, it still manages to be the world’s moral lecturer.
How do we listen to this and not walk out of the classroom?

Former NATO Secretary General Jaap de Hoop Scheffer recognises that promising future membership to Georgia and Ukraine at NATO’s Bucharest Summit in 2008 was a “miscalculation” that destroyed NATO–Russia relations. It set us on a collision course, as Russia saw this as a “serious threat” and drew a red line.
* The NATO Secretary General at the time can make this point; however, it is still considered “Russian propaganda” by our governments and their stenographers in the media. They do not present counter-arguments; instead, they smear, censor, cancel, and maybe even sanction dissenters. Dissent has been crushed to protect their obvious lies: NATO expansionism was not the source of the war; the invasion was “unprovoked”; Ukraine was winning; Russia will attack NATO; Russia has higher casualties; Russia wants to conquer all of Ukraine; Zelensky is not corrupt; Russia does not want a negotiated settlement; etc., etc. The war propaganda is organised around the notion that NATO "supports Ukraine" by hijacking its government, developing it as a proxy, and setting it on a path to destruction to weaken a strategic rival.
The Ebola outbreak in DRC has some serious red flag warnings. See below. And very problematic: the most commonly used test platform in the region cannot pick up this strain. That is a big handicap.
