@whstancil He borrowed the money to own X from Russian oligarchs. They now own him and they are using him. He’s a sock puppet for the kremlin.

@TheMonologist I saw Cary do this show in Southern California the year before he passed away. He was youthful, charming and articulate. Seeing my all time favorite movie star remains one of my most treasured memories.
Scathing statement by @VFWHQ admonishing Trump: “These asinine comments not only diminish the significance of our nation’s highest award for valor, but also crassly characterizes the sacrifices of those who have risked their lives above and beyond the call of duty.”
BREAKING: A Medal of Honor recipient torches Donald Trump for his vile claim that the Presidential Medal of Freedom he gave to one of his donors is "actually much better" than the Medal of Honor.
Colonel Jack Jacobs didn't pull any punches here...
"I can't believe we have to have this conversation but here we are. I guess what I want to ask you is, do the — do your peers, do the men and women — do veterans, do the men and women of the military understand that Donald Trump not only doesn't respect them, but really does see them as suckers and losers?" Nicolle Wallace asked Jacobs during an appearance on MSNBC.
"Well, many do, but many don't," replied Jacobs. "Despite the fact that Donald Trump is one of the most inept public speakers I've heard, and I'm an old person, so I've heard a great number of public speakers, and you often don't know what it is he's saying, not convinced that he knows what it is he's saying. He drifted off in castigating people who have served and sacrificed and can't tell the difference between the Medal of Freedom and the Medal of Honor."
Jacobs then slammed Trump as a "man who, as you said, denigrated people who served and sacrificed so that he can enjoy the freedom that he enjoys now."
"And if it weren't for these people, he wouldn't be in the position where he could — and all of us wouldn't be in the position — where we can enjoy freedom," he continued. "This is also the guy who managed to avoid serving because of a really deleterious heel spur on his foot."
"All that notwithstanding, the problem in this regard is that Donald Trump does not understand some of the things which in history have described how we get to a position where we can have freedom," Jacobs went on. "That is through the service and sacrifice of others."
"I'm reminded of the observation of Hillel, that first-century Hebrew scholar who wrote 'If I am only for myself, what am I?'" Jacobs said. "Well, if you're only for yourself, you're probably Donald Trump."
"Or the observation, almost as poignantly, of John Stewart Mill, who wrote about war," he continued. "Trump ought to like him, because he was something of an individualist and a libertarian, who wrote that 'a man for whom nothing is more important than his own safety is a miserable creature, who is made free and kept free by better men than he.'"
Indeed and well said. Trump is a miserable creature who has zero respect for our military veterans, no love for our country, and nothing but contempt for our values.

@LoriGottlieb1 Try to lean into it (not resist it) by physicalizing it. Where in your body do you feel the craving the strongest? What size, color and texture is it? Can you create some space around it? Can you let this craving just be there while you do something else that you choose to do?
BREAKING: Superstar actor Alan Ritchson of Reacher fame hits back hard at the pro-Trump National Fraternal Order of Police for calling him a "useless Hollywood actor" who is "virtue signaling for attention at the expense of brave police officers."
This is a real showdown between good and evil...
The deeply corrupt fraternal cop organization is infuriated with Ritchson because he said that "cops get away with murder all the time" and called for justice for Breonna Taylor, an innocent Black woman who was killed by police.
After the Fraternal Order of Police posted online insulting and smearing Ritchson and telling him to "go back to your pampered life and let the heroes handle this" he responded with a fiery post on Instagram—
"This kind of emotionally immature response is the epitome of what concerns me about law enforcement today," he wrote. "If this is how leadership handles a peaceful disagreement, what does life look like for those unseen interactions in the street? How does this shape the character of those police officers looking to management?"
"Do you really want individuals so easily angered and bully like school children to have a gun and the protection of an untouchable union?" he went on.
He added that there are "many good and brave cops" but said that there can't be "blind allegiance" when it comes to bad cops because it's "dangerous" and "fertile ground for fascism."
"There are rogue or ill-equipped officers who remind us that we need higher barriers to entry and stricter regulations so abuses are relegated to the past," he stated. "To only seek praise and ignore this need is extremely unwise and endangers those at risk of being ostracized and marginalized."
Not done there, Ritchson also tore into MAGA Governor Ron DeSantis for passing a "law making it illegal for anyone other than the police to police themselves."
"This lack of transparency would be laughable if not so deadly," he went on. "Efforts like these take us further from the world I hope to leave for my children, which is one with extreme prudence when deciding who we arm and a glass house for public institutions. Especially ones with the ability to end lives."
Ritchson was already hated by the MAGA crowd for calling Trump a "rapist and a con man." Now, they're really going to despise him.

@stephaniefoooo Having my son didn’t make me cry but it did open me up to children in general. I was always fairly uninterested in kids, until having my son and suddenly being more open to ALL kids. Having a child does (should) open us up in unique ways.
