For three decades, Alex Mugarura has dedicated his life to shaping young minds in the classroom. Today, the veteran teacher at Kololo Secondary School faces the toughest battle of his life as he appeals to well-wishers and the public for financial support to undergo life-saving liver cancer treatment in India.

Joining the rest of well-meaning Ugandans to demand for the urgent release of Counsel Erias Lukwago, whom we understand was today rushed from jail to Mulago Hospital in very critical condition. We owe ourselves a country where no amount of political disagreement is greater than citizens' right to life and human dignity; a country where no citizen is subjected to sham judicial processes just because they oppose those in power! #FreeEriasLukwago #FreeAllPoliticalPrisoners
By now, several of you might have seen this fake picture making rounds. Ignore and treat with contempt. I don't even know the road that goes to that house which according to Real Estate websites is up for sale in Lubowa. I wouldn't have responded to the misinformation, but some people who were genuinely misled reached out 'congratulating me' on the achievement😃 Anyways, this is just a handiwork of detractors who always manufacture lies because they have nothing useful to offer. Rest assured, our focus remains on what truly matters.
173 days later, King Zale is still missing! Zale was abducted by armed regime operatives from Kamwokya on 21st April.
Where is he?

A video of comrades Buwembo Habib, Lubega Oben Reign and the others under the seats of a police patrol truck after being pepper-sprayed and clobbered with batons. Our teams have been denied access to them and the team arrested earlier from a Mass in Bulenga. Sickening injustices!

We've learnt of the arrest of our comrades Ayesiga Promise aka Mr. Nsi, Sarah Namutebi, MC Mose, councillor Sserunjoji, and others as they attended a Holy Mass at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Bulenga (Kikaaya). These comrades had gone to give thanks and dedicate special prayers for our leader @HEBobiwine as their way of marking #BobiWinesDay - a day designated by our mobilisation team to reignite the spirits of our supporters and encourage them to do good works. The leadership of the Church was aware of their presence and offered prayers. As the regime moves around doing their own mobilisation activities, some of which are outrightly illegal, they feel threatened even by @NUP_Ug supporters attending Church. Currently, the Church remains surrounded by police. We must all condemn the stinking double standards and demand for the release of our comrades.
Museveni's criminal son confirms what we all know: that our brother, Sam Mugumya, who has been missing for over a year is under his personal custody. This after his spokesman, Chris Magezi tried to whitewash and cover up these crimes by trying to dismiss Lt. Mabonga Herbert's revelations as mere fabrications.
Like he has done to many other victims, he is promising to shoot him to death.
Nowhere in this modern world has any person abused power so much and publicly owned up so many crimes against humanity! We are lucky that this brutal criminal is writing his own charge-sheet before the whole world. And yes, the whole world will see him come tumbling down like a house of cards, and answer for these crimes one by one.
Hang in there brother Sam. May you outlive those who are taking you through hell.
Banange let us get back to the mulamwa.. I didn’t mean to distract us from the atrocities by that criminal! We need to #SaveSamMugumya#JusticeForSamMugumya
