➡️Designated camps of SoO militant groups located in #Moreh were found empty during combing operation by Combined team of Security Forces in #Moreh.

➡️On October 31, one police officer (SDPO) was shot dead while inspecting helipad construction at Eastern Shine School ground in Moreh. The police team which went to normalise the situation at Moreh were ambushed at two locations injuring three of the personnel. But the state police team led by Inspector General Themthing reached Moreh town and started combing operation.

➡️ Security Advisor to Chief Minister Kuldiep Singh while talking to media yesterday had stated that combined forces of state and Assam rifles along with the other CAPF have been conducting operation at Moreh to nab the culprit involved in the killing of SDPO Anand.
However, report reaching
here said that the security forces while conducting the suspected area did not find presence of armed militants. Even at the designated camps none were found, a source said.

#Manipur JUST IN -- NIA has arrested Seiminlun Gangte from Churachandpur in a case related to a transnational conspiracy by Myanmar and Bangladesh based leadership of terror outfits to wage war against the Govt. of India by exploiting the current ethnic unrest in the State of Manipur. The case was registered suo moto by the NIA on 19.07.2023 at New Delhi.

Investigation of RC 24/2023/NIA/DLI by NIA revealed that , Myanmar and Bangladesh based militant groups have entered into a conspiracy with a section of militant leaders in India to indulge in incidents of violence with an intention to drive a wedge between different ethnic groups and to wage war against the Government of India. And for this purpose, the aforementioned leadership have been providing funds to procure arms, ammunition and other types of terrorist hardware which are being sourced both, from across the border, as well as from other terrorist outfits active in North Eastern States of India to stoke the current ethnic strife in Manipur.

The said accused has been brought to New Delhi after his arrest and will be produced before the Jurisdictional Court.

Further Investigations in the case are in progress.

I have reached Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh which is one of the largest state of India. I have met with Shri Rajnath Singh, Hon’ble Union Defence Minister and MP of Lucknow at his residence today along with Meitei Supporters.

The reports submitted to him are:

1) To stop the terrorist activities done by Chin Kuki Narco Terrorists and Myanmar based Terrorists.
2) To stop external aggression as it is a national threat issue to every Indian.
3) The Meira Paibis was a symbol of women empowerment and guardians of Manipur. They play a major role in the society. The allegations made by some media house to the Meira Paibis that that they are providing hindrance to the forces are all void.
4) Our Meira Paibis was just trying to safeguard our motherland Manipur.
5) The meira Paibis just come out on the road as their near and dear ones could have been killed by kuki terrorists as many terrorists activities were carried out by kuki terrorists at innocent meiteis in different area.

The state government also wants to end the SoO with the Kuki Militants. So, I urged the Union Defence Minister to end the SoO agreement with the Kuki Militants ASAP and implement NRC in quick time.

The Hon’ble Union Defence Minister expressed his seriousness over the current crisis in Manipur. Rajnath singh also told that he is in contact with the Prime Minister of India most of the time to take up necessary action to bring back peace in Manipur .

I also urged all the leaders to express the truth to the Central Government collectively and the only one’s fact can be known by everyone. I do agree that we must give respect to them. It's not the right time to follow all their statement with ‘Yes SIR ‘ . It's time to narrate all the truth and every leader must be known about what is happening in Manipur. If the central leaders don’t accept to our requests, lets do our measures together brave heartedly because we have to stand for our motherland .

Agenda Item 5: Human rights Mechanism.

“Mr. President,

Today, we draw your attention to a grave and urgent situation faced by the indigenous people of #Manipur, India. These #indigenous communities stand on the brink of a dire conflict, initiated by cross-border narco-terrorist groups.

This conflict has resulted in a tragic toll of over 200 lives lost and the destruction of approximately 5,000 homes, leaving 60,000 people homeless.
Given these distressing circumstances, the peace-loving people of Manipur earnestly appeal to the Indigenous Mechanism and other relevant bodies within this council to facilitate communication with the government of #India:

1. To prioritize the pressing issue of #IllegalImmigrations and the widespread illicit cultivation of #OpiumPoppies covering an area exceeding 10s of thousand acres in the hills of Indo-Myanmar Borderland particularly in Manipur.

2. To urge the competent agencies and parties to take urgent initiatives by relevant mandates to address the gross violations of the human rights in the ongoing violence in Manipur.

3. To recognize and address the menace of narco-terrorism and emerging new #Goldentriangle and its far-reaching consequences on the longstanding ethnic harmony, economic stability, and ecological well-being of the Indigenous People in Manipur and WSEA region.

4. Given the suspected involvement of immigrant armed militant groups in narco- terrorist activities in the region including the ongoing violence in Manipur, we call for a thorough review of the policy of Suspension of Operations with such groups by govt. of India.

It is our hope that the council's collective efforts will help alleviate the suffering of the indigenous people of Manipur and contribute to a just and peaceful resolution of the current crisis
