@BettyBowers I liked her orange juice commercials before that, and it felt like a betrayal. Under the guise of “saving children” she made life hurtful and difficult for this child. Though I never wished her dead I’m glad she is.

@BettyBowers As hate speech always does, it made life very difficult for her targets. I was a Gay teen in South Florida at the time and many of my classmates who hadn’t given it a second thought suddenly felt they had permission to verbally abuse me. It felt personal and it became personal.

@GodBTCFamily Whether or not you are legally married has everything to do with inheritance and how you are or are not taxed inheriting a deceased spouse’s half of your joint property. It also has to do with whether or not you are considered family during a hospitalization. It matters, period.

@OfficialTracieB Terrible situation there. I have clients who are supposed to close escrow on a house today, that is now being threatened by the fire in Alta Dena. Not sure if the house will still be there when the sun comes up. Such destruction, not to mention all the wildlife in those areas.
