Students love unlocking new areas and "Side Quest/Should-Do" challenges while learning. (Kids are cataloguing mysteries and story/character theories on Google docs for fun.)🎮

A classroom full of engaged students! The goal? To “breakout” of math class! 😆 Teaching math can be so much fun! This lesson could have been worksheets or a computer program, but instead we are getting active collaborators and problem solvers.

A huge group of 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students just completed an optional Side Quest to create our Academic Team T-Shirt for this year in Canva.

Results have been narrowed to five finalists. Students will vote this week!

Two 7th Grade Academy Class (math/magician path) students offered to teach a lesson they were learning in their math study to 6th graders. 20 minutes later they taught a group, and did a fantastic job accelerating content for younger peers.
