I was today years old when I found out the subjunctive case is fading away from English. When I was a kid in school, you were taught to say "If I were you" instead of "If I was you." Now it turns out the second form is actually winning.

Okay, this is gross. You've been warned. Over the weekend I ate at restaurant and sat near the door. I saw a woman walk out with a prominent brown stain between her legs, showing through her denim shorts. My first thought was poop. A female friend of mine said it was probably dried menstrual blood. I honestly want to know if some sort of drug abuse does this to a man's mind, or if it's demonic activity, simple mental illness, chemical exposure, or a combination of all of these. You never heard about this kind of thing decades ago. At what point did the crazies start coming out of the shadows and why? Childhood lead exposure has been increasingly linked to the surge in serial killers in the 1970's and 1980's. Have we just not found an organic cause of this?
