@pixiefvrr_@CaesarCzec9987 This is... stunning?
I'm just going to chalk it up to "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" but holy fucking shit the beholder's vision is warped like the black hole's gravitational field.
@Inferno_s_s The word family is not strictly for blood related or parental bonds. You can see a stranger as your family, once you develop a bond.
Point out to me where Solon is saying that Rover saw Aemeath as a daughter or vice versa. Yep. There isn't a single sentence.
@Inferno_s_s He was literally saying that Aemeath saw her whole world through Rover, and that Rover is her entire reason to do what she did. Precisely what the game presented.
Not in a single instance did he say she saw Rover as a parental figure, she saw him as a savior.
Nobody can look you in the eye with a straight face and tell you that God of War: Laufey will become a defining game of its era and endure for generations the way the first original God of War did.
It's an excuse to expand the female audience in the AAA industry by force, as has been established in agendas that are open for anyone to see, from GDC and The Game Awards to NGOs and billionaires.
Nothing is genuine, nor does it come from a place of good intentions. Companies are betting on your nostalgia and attachment to iconic franchises while brainwashing the upcoming generation.
The real answer is that this hobby should never have been invaded by resentful women or by men who hate what they are and call themselves "allies." The gates of hell were opened after 2010, and nobody can close them anymore. They should have remained a tiny minority of real female gamers who embraced the past, respected the traditional development of videogames, and were only allowed into the gaming industry by proving themselves worthy
"Japan has to apologize for it's crime of WW2"
And then US, Russia, Germany, UK, Italy all of these countries has to keep on apologizing for their crimes as well. Do you, for a moment, thought that allies did not commit war crimes?
Current citizens has nothing to do with WW2.
Japan made repeated apologies for its actions during WW2 but more importantly the official position of the government is:
“we must not let the future generations, who have nothing to do with that war, be predestined to apologize.“
This is the correct attitude.
This wouldn't be a problem, if it didn't try to ride the coattails of God of War. It is not a God of War game. God of War is Kratos. Without Kratos it is no longer God of War.
The usual journalists have already started attacking gamers and defending the new game made for “modern audiences.”
Luckily, many people are starting to notice the pattern in these games and companies. Even many who used to defend this stuff are now agreeing with us.
People are tired of these companies replacing iconic gaming characters with modernized ones.
The God of War creator says this is shit, pizza companies are making fun of it, and everyone is making memes.
We are tired of these companies injecting their ideologies into the franchises we grew up with.
