Out of 21 packs of chicken weighed, 11 are short

One of the packs is marked 5.5 pounds but only contains 4.2 pounds, that’s 24% short

We are all so sick of being robbed

Walmart has even been caught doing this and charged in the past. In August 2025, Walmart paid about $5.64 million in a California judgment resolving allegations of price overcharges and false weight advertising

It also happened again, Walmart settled a major $45 million class action covering weighted goods including poultry meat and bagged citrus for alleged overcharges tied to weight and pricing discrepancies during the period of 2018–2024
