The right choices I think. London would have been good too as they look to be building something good, but I think it’ll do them good to have that extra year out in the long term
Made up for @TOXIII too, about time we had a second French club to grow the sport there!
Enjoyed watching that @YorkRLFC and @TOXIII match. @TheSportsman coverage is good! Feels like all I’ve done is watch rugby today after the incredible NRL Grand Final this morning 😂
Would like to see both clubs in Super League next year.
Congratulations Toulouse! #RugbyLeague
Ah, it’s that time of year when Jeremy Clarkson reminds us that you don’t need academic qualifications to succeed in life. Just a very expensive education and high value social networks.
Deeply concerning that Nigel Wood is making a claim which is demonstrably false.
You can argue about French clubs involvement in the sport and others can agree or disagree. But when you have to resort to falsehoods it suggested the underlying argument is weak.
I'm not in favour of 14 teams next season.
But I'm completely against two clubs being handpicked by a selection committee when the other 12 will be determined by gradings
Shocking look. No matter what reasons are given, it will be impossible not to believe the process is designed to ensure the desired clubs are accepted fairly or not.
This translates to “we don’t like the rules we agreed to, so we’ll do what we want to stop Toulouse coming up” to me.
Professional sport ran by amateurs.
🇫🇷 Wigan Warriors will take on @DragonsOfficiel at the Stade Jean Bouin, Paris, on Saturday 6 June 2026.
The game will mark the 20 years of Catalans in Super League and 30 years since the start of Super League - where it all began.

@catalanmedia Love it, I’ll have to have sky scanner at the ready 😂 perfect excuse to go after all.. should be a brilliant experience. Good on the Dragons for doing stuff like this too.
Thanks!
@TicketmasterCS hi, I keep getting this message every single time I try and use the website or the app? It won’t even let me log back in after logging out to see if that fixed it?
Billy Boston is a true trailblazer who has contributed hugely to rugby league.
It’s a historic wrong that a sport which is the backbone of many communities has waited so long to receive this honour.
Boston is a legend of the game who overcame prejudice to represent Great Britain and opened the door to a more diverse game.
He has left a truly enduring legacy. The first knighthood in rugby league could not go to a more deserving player.
