One brand that does an incredible job with social listening is Netflix. Netflix uses social listening to hear what their consumers want to see. They view the watchers reactions through online conversations to specific shows and analyze if these desired series should be continued.
@RetailPro369 after discussing ch9/10, I believe social listening is exceptionally important when trying to currate brand loyalty and a good brand image. Without social listening brands would not know what their consumers wanted or needed, and woule be extremely unsuccessful.
Throughout this video presented, I believe the target buyer persona for this post is any person that uses makeup that is on the go or has a limited amount of time to do their makeup.
I agree! SKIMS has done a great job within recent years showing inclusivity from all different sizes, races, and fits. They also now have dived into producing male garments and merchandise to broaden their products within their brand.
I agree, New Balance does a good job of keeping their posts simple but to the point with short videos and comments. They highlight whats important and show what their brand is truly all about.
I really enjoy New Balance's content on X. They really keep their post simple by sharing media and short videos that highlight others. Their post also just feature a hint of their brand without overpowering others.

One brand I think does a good job at following this rule is Nike. Nike engages its customers for the majority of the time and creating a sense of a motivating, uplifting community. They only are seen promoting its brand new items and merchandise on specific posts. @RetailPro369
Based on the info that we have discussed throughout the following lectures, I found the 80/20 rule was extremely fascinating and is a rule that many brands need to follow. This rule explains that 20% of a brands content should be direct for promotions, while 80% audience interest
This specificly immediately grabbed my attention because it features a short message and video of the Dior fashion show SS25 while in Paris. The video reveals the brands recent looks on the runway and includes a dramatic imagery that grabs the viewers attention. @RetailPro369
Take your front-row seat at the #DiorSS25 show in Paris to discover the powerful dynamism and athleticism of Maria Grazia Chiuri's latest collection.

I believe this new interactive experience is the future and will forever change how consumers purchase clothes. Some Zara mirrors also offer a view of what the garment would look like on you instead of trying on the new clothing. This is an incredible depiction of what AI can do.
Based on the lectures we discussed, AI is playing a tremendous role in the way that consumers purchase their goods. For example in todays retail industry, Zara is offering interactive mirrors that use AI to detect what clothing a customer may be interested in.@RetailPro369
Yes, I totally agree! Influencers play such a dominant role in consumer buying behavior. From instagram to Tik-Tok to Youtube, consumers are willing to spend hundreds of dollars on what their favorite influencers are using or recommending to their followers.
One strategy that I believe gets to a lot of Gen Z’s, like me, is product user! Due to social influencers and the constant introduction of trends, we follow those activities based on the type of person that uses it. We see that it fits our age group and we want it!
I 100% agree, understanding consumers behavior patterns is what drives a retail brands success. Without understanding what a consumer wants/needs, brands will fail. By personalizing an experience for a consumer, this also helps to build brand loyalty so they purchase more goods.
Understanding consumer behavior is key for retail success! One crucial takeaway is the impact of personalization, tailoring experiences based on customer data can drive higher engagement and sales.
Typically, you can find LuluLemon locations in areas with a higher income status; people who are willing to pay the price to "look good and feel good." Consumers benefit from the clothing brand by investing in gear or clothing that are both supportive and help them remain active.
@RetailPro369 when discussing market segmentation, LuluLemon is a particular example of a benefit segmentation that focuses on athleisure. They target their audience from dieters, winners, and self improvers. Promoting clothing that is solely used in order to better ones self.
Do you feel as though classical conditioning has had an extreme impact on your associations and thoughts of brands and companies around you? Has this caused you to not purchase from certain brands due to your prior associations?
@RetailPro369 Throughout our discussion about classical conditioning, I found it extremely interesting how consumers immediately have an association with a specific brand/company just by seeing a specific product/logo/saying. For example, when thinking of Tiffany and Co...
consumers affiliate the iconic Tiffany blue with a white ribbon signifying an expensive piece of astonishing jewelry. A level of sophistication, elegance, and luxury is immediately felt when viewing Tiffany blue. Just by seeing something as simple as a companies packaging.
Chick-fil-A has successfully created strong, consistent brand loyalty due to their significant efforts both in and outside of the store. In my opinion, no other fast food chain competes, due to their strong customer service, "my pleasure," and consistent drive-thru experiences.
drive-thru experiences, and opportunities for rewards. This keeps customers coming back and allows Chick-fil-A to gain emotional loyalty and top-of-mind awareness. I think this fast-food chain is a great example of creating strong brand loyalty.
