Here’s why the £350M line on the bus was a lie - it said: “We send the EU £350 million a week”. We never did. Because that’s the gross bill before the rebate (discount) that lowered that cost. So we actually “sent” them much less money - around £250M per week on average.

If you buy a TV priced at £350 RRP, but discounted to £250 - then you never actually pay £350 for it and you would be wrong to claim to your family that you can take it back to the shop to get £350 cash back to go spend on something else in a different shop.

It’s a straight-up lie.
