tbh, rustdesk+tailscale is great and honestly how a lot of people do it. one for the network, one for the screen.
But you shouldn't need to stitch 3 tools together. I built StarDesk cuz I want the "it's basically my PC" feeling, none of the setup. P2P, free, low latency, etc.
