New Trashalanche, despite the damage increase, ignores Tool cards, which used to be considered Items.
In additional, Garbodor was so powerful in the context of being played alongside Garbotoxin Garbodor.
I dont expect Tirtouga to be very strong
Old Trashalanche came in to clean up a garbage format where every deck played insane numbers of Items.
New Trashalanche exists in a format already thoroughly pollinated with lots of wonderful Supporter cards. Hopefully the oceans stay clean so Tirtouga never gets angry.
@WashedNikola by the time these decks come out, a lot of the cards are rotated anyway. They are meant to be enjoyed separately, not as pieces to build a meta deck
World Championship Deck Error:
The 2024 World Championship decks feature Basic Energy that wouldn't have been released internationally at the time of the 2024 World Championship event
@WashedNikola There's plenty of high value cards in these decks. Making these tournament legal would also completely evade the point of them which is to keep them together and play them against one another to experience what it was like to play that Worlds format
@Danny_W_Dowling That was just the case of cards not using E-reader borders anymore. There is no function of adding the E-reader border, so it made sense to get rid of them
@TotiTotiToti It's crazy how much they changed them this year. Some of the changes are nice, but could they have waited another year until all the borders weren't yellow anymore 😭
