Her nickname was Angel. She was 18 years old.
She was a student at Sagam Secondary School, Midhine Village, Siaya.

Last week Sunday night , Angel and her small brother went to sleep as usual after supper. Angel told her little brother not to close the house, as she intended to mop the living room first. That's when she went out and she didn't come back.

Angel was found raped , murdered and her body dumped in some bushes not far from her home.

Angel mother told us that on Tuesday in Yala, near a police station another school girl was raped, murdered and dumped on her way to school.

This is Femicide.

School girls whose futures have been stolen, ripped apart from their families in the most violent way. With no justice or recourse to the families that are in mourning and preparing to lay them to rest.
