Your work narrating the ground-breaking 2012 documentary Rising From Ashes - about our creation and development of “Team Rwanda Cycling” with the amazing @AD_Niyonshuti87 OLY right at the centre of it all - was incredible.
Everyone we know who watches it tells us they cry, laugh, cry more, and laugh some more. All declare it the best documentary they have ever seen. 👏👏

The next episode of the new Africa Rising Cycling podcast is out!
This episode we talk to @RossBurrage - the co-founder of Ugandan based Masaka Cycling Club Foundation 🧡🇺🇬
MCC were one of the early adopters of online training and racing, and their distinctive orange team kit can be seen in @GoZwift races regularly! Zwift have even featured them at their internal company away days as an example of awesome Zwift-ness 👍👍

A brilliant piece about our good friends at Masaka Cycling Club 🇺🇬 in Uganda by the great @EscapeCycling team!
One of the early adopters of @GoZwift & @wahoofitness - MCC is developing several young stars for the future 🙏

@magic8runner @nedboulting @CyclingAfrica She does get a small scholarship from the club and all her race expenses paid…..plus she received grant support from The Cyclists’ Alliance/STRAVA program this year which has been wonderful
Brilliant little movie (3’30”) about the rising star of Ugandan cycling - Florence
Nakaggwa of the Masaka Cycling Club - who has secured her country’s first female pro contract with the fantastic @WMNcycling Generation team, but several months later still does not have a visa to race in Europe?!
This is still the NUMBER ONE issue for African cyclists and we have to get it fixed! Even the mighty @GrmayeBiniam has had to deal with this issue all through his career to date. In the recently released movie ‘This Is My Moment’ of his career so far, there is a scene where a coach or advisor tells a young Biniam, on the news a pro team are interested: “Tell them they have to help you with your visa” is repeated 2-3 times. We suspect riders like Tom Pidcock, Tadej Pogacar and others have never had this chat…
How do we change this once and for all? A ‘Sports & Entertainment’ visa is an idea no? @UCI_cycling@EU_Commission@Olympics@RefugeesOlympic
Ideas??

The incredible team from Uganda-based Masaka Cycling Club 🇺🇬 are working hard to get their rising star Florence Nakaggwa ready for her first ever #ITT at @CyclingWorlds this week!
At only 18, 149cm, 51kg and able to already sustain a 20 minute 5.2 w/kg, she is a real talent to be watched!
She trains regularly on a @wahoofitness connected to our friends at @GoZwift back in the Masaka Cycling Cycling clubhouse in Southern Uganda 👍

Ça fait donc plaisir de voir de beaux projets comme l'équipe Masaka Cycling Team créée par @RossBurrage et soutenue par @CyclingAfrica, avec une famille cycliste qui rappelle la famille Debesay en Érythrée.
