🍿 Cui bono? Here for the hypocrisy receipts. Inconvenient truth seeker.
American Pragmatism, sep. of powers, limited gov., mrkt. competition. Rule by consent.
James Madison described the powers of the federal government as “few and defined” and those reserved to the states as “numerous and indefinite.”
We’ve been dangerously drifting from that understanding since the 1930s.
The drift has been most evident in areas now most fraught with waste, fraud, and abuse.
If we honored the Constitution’s limits on federal power, there’d be very little waste, fraud, and abuse in our national government.
Share if you’d like to see a “constitutional reset,” in which any government function that’s not obviously and necessarily federal under the Constitution would be returned “to the states respectively, or to the people,” as the Tenth Amendment specifies.
A reminder that it is not even just in our own homeland and our own people that is exposed to being the sacrificial lamb for globalism's failed experiment.
The disaster we are facing is an interconnected quagmire that haunts the whole Anglosphere and diaspora of many European nations even.
Rest In Peace, Declan Cutler.
They call for calm in the face of horror.
This is inhuman and manipulative.
The proportionate and natural response to an horrific incident is disgust, fear and anger.
They want to downplay the horror to dodge their own political responsibility for it.
They’ll play the mental illness card over the atrocity in Belfast. But the real mental illness is in the people who have allowed these savages into our country.
It’s not social media that’s “inflaming tensions”.
It’s not Elon Musk.
It’s not Nigel Farage.
It’s not the ‘far-right’.
It is the very deliberate policy of mass uncontrolled immigration & open borders.
This policy has to end or it will destroy Western nations.
CLOSE THE BORDERS.
Enter IPAS centres militarily and remove all illegal entrants from this island.
Inviting and financing mentally deranged people from the 3rd world is a hard no.
Get them out. Stop them coming.
We say no to this.
@Mick_O_Keeffe Hates your country, but travels to it anyway and then gives you a piece of his mind and a warning. Yeap, all those countries that hate us and we're warned not to travel to, but the governments allow THEM to move HERE, the very same people who hate us! Loonacy!
@Mick_O_Keeffe For future generations England, Scotland, the UK as a whole must put differences aside to pushback against the muslim & african invasion of these ancient christian isles or lose them forever. The invasion is facilitated by the globalist totalitarian establishment.

The simple fact is that if you bring to your society lots of people from countries where beheadings are normal, you will get more beheadings. See also: Female Genital Mutilation, sexual assault, etc. This is a policy choice. By politicians. Who must bear responsibility.
These are the parties in Ireland who do not care if you or your loved ones get their heads cut off in the street. They’ve done what they can to ensure it.

@EndWokeness Without Leftist NGOs getting unlimited money from USAID to flip foreign elections for the far Left.
You see what the actual citizens of a country want.
@RuadhanIT@IrishTimes
Your editorial calling the murder of 18 year old Henry Nowak “a rallying cry for the far-right” is a disgrace.
Nowak was stabbed five times on 3 December 2025. His killer lied about racial abuse. Police handcuffed him while he was dying and ignored his pleas. Bodycam footage confirmed it. The killer was convicted of murder.
Your piece got the date wrong (“last September”), falsely called the British-born perpetrator an “immigrant,” and used the tragedy to attack “far right” reactions instead of showing basic respect for the victim or his family.
As Editor you own this institutional failure.
Readers should complain:

Focus on breaches of Truth & Accuracy and Fact vs Comment in the Code of Practice. The form is straightforward.
The Irish Times under your leadership has shown no respect for the dead. People are cancelling subscriptions and filing complaints. This should not stand.
