@DanWolken @UT4x_champs It's not private sector. That's the point he just made. The schools stay open on State and Federal dollars. Tax payers pay those coaches salaries.

@DanWolken They're almost all government institutions. In this case both are Mississippi State is a state school funded by the tax payers of Mississippi and they receive federal funding. LSU is the same, but for Louisiana. The schools that aren't still recieve significant federal funding.

@MrsRuvi My very good friend, classmate, and pastor at my parish didn't wear his clerics for the first entire year of our MBA program. His reasoning? If people couldn't tell he was a Catholic priest by his actions, his clerics were the actual disguise.

STOP trying to put America on permanent jet lag.

Permanent DST means:

darker winter mornings
children waiting for school buses in darkness
worse circadian disruption
less natural morning light

The human body runs on SUN time — not shopping time.

End the clock changes if you want.
But permanent STANDARD time is the biologically healthy option.
Nature already created “daylight savings.”
It’s called summer.
