@Cantona_Collars I remember watching this and saying something along the lines of “don’t shoot from there” and then it hitting the back of the net. Same with the Free kick in the Semis against Arsenal. Everything he touched turned to gold his last seasons at Utd.
@AndyMitten Definitely a combo. A nice little Man Utd bounce, the players know the fans will be behind those 3 ex players and then go all out for Luis Enrique in the summer.
@jonmikesav8 Finding it harder and harder to recognise what football fans are these days. Instant success or nothing. No time for youth player development either it seems.
@ModadeJ45577 @EBL2017 And the squad Arteta took over managed to get to the EL final under Emery and went so many unbeaten. Arsenal weren’t exactly staving off relegation.
@EBL2017 @ModadeJ45577 Ozil on his day was different class. Let’s not quickly forget how good of a footballer he actually was. He’s a WC winner. Arsenal signed a player when he signed, regardless of how it ended. He’s is a big name.
@EBL2017 @ModadeJ45577 I’d maybe accept the Liverpool one, but Klopp was a World Class manager, so probably always going to get it right. Whenever Arteta took over, it was off the back off a Europa league and final defeat and 5th place. He had Saka, he bombed Aubamayeng, but still had Ozil etc
@ModadeJ45577 @EBL2017 I don’t think Amorim has it easy at all, nor am I saying Amorim is right, but if you think Utd in the last 10 years hasn’t been engulfed by a rotten mentality that’s been allowed to manifest, then I think we should probably end this now. Good chatting though.
@htomufc It was always going to be like that after Casemiros sending off. Utd defending a 2-0 lead and invited pressure from Chelsea, Utd waiting to pick them off. The rain and pitch played a massive factor also. Hard to really complain after that. It’s a win.
@jonmikesav8 That had absolutely nothing to do with Dalot trying a stupid flick with the world in front of him and the ball at his feet. I understand what you’re saying, but it feels like the early 00s with “individual errors” costing Utd.
@Cantona_Collars Unfort for me, my memories of Robson was a bit part at the tail of his Utd career, then Player/Man at Boro. Keane on the other hand, my goodness!!!
