Sam Mulroy reached the landmark appearance of 100 for our senior footballers on Saturday evening against Mayo. An outstanding leader who has set an incredible standard for both himself and our county.

Sam has had a successful time since his debut in 2017, winning a National League Division 4 title in 2021 and a Division 3 title in 2022. He also captained the county to three Leinster Finals in a row, including lifting the Delaney Cup in 2025. He has been nominated for an All-Star in 2024 and won the number 15 All-Star award in 2025.

Congratulation Sam and here's too many more! 👏👏👏

Louth GAA would like to acknowledge the mammoth service Colm Corrigan has given to our great county, as he finishes up his Monday to Friday role with LMFM, tomorrow after 34 years of service.

The job Colm has done for LMFM and the wider region over the last 34 years has been simply incredible.

When Colm made his first broadcast in 1992, nobody could have imagined the impact he would go on to have. Through dedication, professionalism, warmth and an unwavering commitment to listeners, Colm has become one of the defining voices of our local games and a trusted companion to generations of people.

To spend 34 years at the heart of LMFM is an achievement in itself. To do so while consistently informing, entertaining and connecting with audiences’ day after day is truly remarkable. The mark Colm has made on Louth people; LMFM listeners and the wider community will endure for many years to come.

It has been a privilege for all of us in Louth GAA to work alongside Colm and witness the passion, knowledge and care he has brought to every commentary and broadcast. As a valued member of the Louth GAA Communications Committee, Colm has also given generously of his time, experience and expertise behind the scenes. His support, guidance and wise counsel have been invaluable to so many of us, and his willingness to help, encourage and advise has made a lasting difference to our organisation.

Like so many Louth Gaels, we are gutted that this chapter is coming to an end, but after 34 years of outstanding service, Colm leaves with the hearts of a county.

The memories, the moments and the connection he has built with audiences over more than three decades will never be forgotten.

Thank you, Colm, for your commitment, your friendship, your professionalism and your remarkable service.
We wish you every happiness and success in the years ahead .
