Thankfully, the Defenders were finally evacuated.

They say those months were incredibly difficult. They never felt safe, day or night. Humor and thoughts of their loved ones helped them keep going.

Israel has again reached one of the men who took part in the October 7 invasion.
This morning in Khan Yunis, Jihad Ismail was killed. According to Palestinian sources, on that day he crossed the border with other armed militants and entered Israeli territory. After the attack he returned to Gaza and remained there through the following years of the war.
The IDF and Shin Bet have continued to hunt those who crossed into Israel that morning, then went back to Gaza and kept operating with terrorist groups. Today it was Ismail’s turn. The strike was carried out in Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.
He was killed on the spot. Twelve others with him were wounded.
Almost three years later, Israel is still settling accounts with those who took a direct part in the October 2023 invasion.
