This morning I decided to exit all Curve pools to safeguard my $gear and other $3 moonbags. Guess you already know -- it felt like watching paint dry.
Executing trades from the safety of your @safe has never been easier with Console. Batched transactions make it that much simpler to deploy capital and avoid the biggest bear trap I've ever seen 🫡
Also, detailed trade info helps you later on see how much money you've lost

@adamscochran@NourHaridy The $1m / month "fees" on frxETH is the total yield on all their staked ETH I believe? Most of this is passed to sfrxETH holders with only 10% actually going to the protocol. I think this protocol amount is more suited to "fees" in a valuation context.
@Riley_gmi Swaps/joins/exit all happen via the balancer vault contract so can make static calls to that. Best is to use their query helper contract though https://t.co/4C3nv0RgNG
@DegenSpartan Fees don't always fully explain the difference in LSD returns and these should converge over time?
Differences in underlying staking performance (tips+mev) as well as the token mechanism (eg frxeth+sfrxeth) probs more important going forward
A great example of how non-linear derivs aren’t always pvp. Different use-cases+hedging by counterparts allows for the possibility of win-win outcomes. Obvs lose-lose is also possible but somehow my clients never used to believe me when I told them we both lost money on a trade
I think its very important that people understand how the Lyra AMM makes money. Too many people think it is just purely betting against traders, and traders win = AMM loses.
Lets look at a simplified example where this is not the case:
@FutureIsCrypto8@GearboxProtocol@BrahmaFi Historical analysis of the strategy behaviour is discussed in the blog to highlight the risk factors, but can make this clearer. 🕹️ will also shed a new light on risk analysis https://t.co/BRx4qUJ54K
@FutureIsCrypto8@GearboxProtocol@BrahmaFi What does happen when the ETH price falls is the account leverage drops (because you have eth debt and mix of stables+steth assets). If the leverage falls below the lower bound the position will be increased ie more ETH can be borrowed and swapped for steth.
@FutureIsCrypto8@GearboxProtocol@BrahmaFi The FRAX principal is used as collateral in the credit account, it is never sold for ETH. ETH is borrowed against this collateral and swapped for stETH. If ETH dumps the vault share price will remain the same (assuming the stETH:ETH price stays the same.
@FutureIsCrypto8@GearboxProtocol@BrahmaFi Most importantly though TopGear has monitoring in place which will adjust the position if account leverage breaches the range bounds. This ensures that liquidation prices always remain a safe distance from current prices.
@FutureIsCrypto8@GearboxProtocol@BrahmaFi The TopGear credit accounts hold frax (~20%) and steth (~80%) assets against ETH debt. So liquidation does also depend on ETH price since not all the assets are correlated to eth. Since Frax only makes up 20% of assets the ETH liquidation price is currently around $3175
