As part of our work looking at the stressors for anaesthetists, our patient partner has also published her own personal reflection about the research. This is a nice way to widen the project and its footprint. Thank you Lyndsey! https://t.co/GPW3Ne9Zru
It's very lovely to see all the effort turn into outputs. Our work on identifying stressors for anaesthetics trainees is out as of today - https://t.co/ipZZJW2DWQ
Very happily, my book has a review now many thanks to the Social Semiotics journal for platforming it "Bourdieu’s theory of economic practice and organisational modelling".

Alongside staff from 2 different NHS Trusts in Cornwall, we've published a pilot evaluation of a new community-based healthcare role in BMC Primary Care (Who have an excellent special issue on the topic). I'd be happy to do more of this joint publishing.

This week's Seminar on anaesthetic trainee wellbeing was really engaging. I was very happy to attend a Med Ed talk that clearly signalled some new policy changes for core and foundation years.
Exploring topics such as outreach, selection, retention, and progression, Louise Alldridge's new edited collection 'Pedagogies of Widening Participation in Medical Settings' publishes in just over a week's time! Pre-order your copy now @NMS_WP_Forum https://t.co/c9WdZjLyWJ
Not long to go until #BERA2024 kicks off in Manchester @OfficialUoM! 📅 If you've got cutting-edge scholarly education research you're excited to publish, or just want to discuss the process in general, I'd love to meet with you🤝📝

Our new paper, led by @TristanJPrice1 , on the role of remediation in serious misconduct cases, is out now in BMJ Qual Saf. This paper comes from our work conceptualising seriousness in FTP. https://t.co/FXHiI0ofjl
I was very happy to be involved in the review Rebecca Baines produced about PPI in digital health. Top 10 most cited in the Health Expectations Journal, this feels like a good way to end the week!
Yesterday, I had the pleasure of talking to the PenARC community and primary care team about the new (to the UK/Cornwall) Community Health & Wellbeing Worker role. The full talk should be accessible below.

I had a lot of fun translating the Português in this paper. I don't think there is a whole load of quants papers that use semiotics as an analytical frame.

Our survey won't take you long, it really helps us understand what is currently happening, we'll be really grateful, and there might be biscuits!**
**There are no biscuits.
I've been very much enjoying trying to get my head about Lacan via Guy Le Gaufey. I had no idea that Lacan's logic has such a debt to Peirce. It seems that Lacan avec Peirce could be a rabbit hole for my reading list all of its own.
