Tonight, it’s the people not the political establishment, that have sent the far-right this clear message:
We are diverse, multicultural, multiracial, of all faiths and none, and from all around the world.
We stand together against your intolerance, division and hatred.
@GWRHelp Struggling to piece together the various disruption notices along the Bristol-London Paddington route - are these services running as planned now? I’m booked onto the 20:00 service from Bristol
the overwhelming majority of the people support a ceasefire, and even if they didn’t there is no plausible moral justification for voting one down. our political class has blood on its hands
Destruction of records is essential to a genocide. Thinking how Britain continues to destroy colonial documents; how libraries were destroyed in 1857; also how Brazil spent 20 years destroying documents about enslaved people. It is how empire erases history. Memory remains though
Disappointed but not surprised to see @ThangamMP on this list. I cannot believe that this is representative of the Bristol West constituency. To remain silent is to take the side of the oppressor. #CeasefireNOW
I've spent the last weeks signing petitions, writing to my MP and Councillors, and amplifying the call for #CeasefireNOW amongst my networks. I hope to be able to attend some Palestine solidarity events this week. 1
Also can anyone share or point me towards resources about how to identify antisemitic dogwhistles in discourse around Israel and Palestine? I know I read a great piece on this a few years ago but I can't find it. 3
You are 5x more likely to live in a damp home if you rent from a landlord than if you own a home.
The unwillingness of the government to crack down on landlords is putting young lives at risk, and putting a strain on the NHS.
Hi @ThangamMP, I'm your constituent, horrified by the killing of thousands of civilians in Gaza. As the death toll continues to rise, we urgently need a ceasefire. Will you back the amendment on Wednesday? #CeasefireNow
I spent yesterday with a pregnant friend whose first child is due any day now. We talked about her plans to make the birth suite a peaceful and calm space for their son to arrive into & I longed for a world where every baby has that.
This should never be allowed to happen.
37 prematurely born babies detached from their incubators at Al Shifa Gaza hospital under attack and siege due to lack of electricity and oxygen and now wrapped in blankets to avoid hypothermia. Kept alive with basic medical methods and at risk of death (2 died earlier today)
I always enjoy listening to @CriminalShow but this episode was something else. The importance of harm reduction cannot be understated: ‘We want you to live … We care enough about you, exactly as you are’

“He said to me, ‘Hey. You know about drugs, don't you?’ And I said, ‘Yeah,’ cause I used to score acid off him in the seventies, in school. He said, ‘Come and work for us.’” This week, how Liverpool’s first needle exchange got their start: https://t.co/1h7t8C9YeV
Beautiful action from @theDykeProject, which has hacked over 100 ads across TfL bus, rail and tube networks to share queer Palestinian stories, and show queer solidarity with Palestinians.
