@sccenglish@INOTEnews I think it is because of sample size and social class (greater/greatest student diversity at HL) impacting 2020 grade predictions followed by 2021 grade predictions or exams (whichever is better) followed years of the PMA trying to match all the previous years of exam inflation.
@AmyMcLo98205375 I totally agree. Flair is definitely a requirement for a H1.
Social class may also impact the %H1s. There may be a higher concentration of middle-class students in HL maths / Irish classes compared with HL English. Privilege may explain the difference in the % of H1s.
Well done to the students who participated in our 2024 Summer Programme.The students enjoyed a variety of activities such as coding, music, art, sport, cooking, sustainability and science.They also attended fantastic trips to places like Fota, Kinsale Market,Doc Beach and more.
@PKTeaches@SNAsSpeakOut If an SNA takes part in the Summer programme, they are taking up additional duties and should be paid as such. Preaching to the converted I know - but SNAs should be paid much more for their role anyway.
