@IvankaNews_ According to the official website of the United States of America, the correct way to address a former president is to use "The Honorable John Doe" and the correct salutation is "Mr. Doe"
@JackDeBath@sharrond62@DAaronovitch@Miss_Snuffy Don’t follow. Aaronovich refers to Trump, Biden and Scotusa just after a story that made headlines round the world. He assumes a certain level of intelligence in his readers.
@JackDeBath@sharrond62@DAaronovitch@Miss_Snuffy You’re missing the point.
If a president orders the killing of a person who is ‘a threat to national security’ it’s not murder. And even if is is is not possible to prosecute. Because it was undertaken u see orders in an official capacity.
@JackDeBath@sharrond62@DAaronovitch It was already established that a sitting president is immune. It was thought that they could be prosecuted after they left office . Now? Not so much. So yes he did understand.
@JackDeBath@sharrond62@DAaronovitch Aronovich was commenting on the absurdity of the Supreme Courts decision and showing its logical extension. It’s called satire.
@cradled_fire @MAGA__Patriot @MJ_TheRealAlien Donald Trump accused chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley of committing treason, “an act so egregious that, in times gone by, the punishment would have been DEATH!”
#justsaying
@PsyopsRabbit@FBI@DHSgov@CommunityNotes@Safety “Under our constitutional structure of separated powers, the nature of Presidential power entitles a former President to absolute immunity from criminal prosecution for actions within his conclusive and preclusive constitutional authority.”
@PsyopsRabbit@FBI@DHSgov@USSupremeCourt Why not explain it to us then? Why would an official act that was ordered by a sitting president be a prosecutable crime?
