@JohnRadoux @cliffe_ali I don’t follow? No one is saying these ASAs can work magic (sadly!) but there are some severely traumatised children in multiple sibling groups who need a bigger container and this can more confidently be met within an ASA.

@JohnRadoux @cliffe_ali I don’t know. You would have to ask them that. They have a multidisciplinary team, there’s PAYE, supervision, office staff and rental etc. It mounts up as any business will tell you.

@JohnRadoux @cliffe_ali Some more complex adoptive families need much more intensive wrap around care than a sole therapist can provide. Adoption Support Agencies have that kind of back-up - plus paying business overheads. They are usually not-for-profit (like FF).

Really shocked at the government’s decision to reduce the FAL of the ASFSF to 40% per child with no funding for assessments. I understand that they are under pressure to reduce spending, but this is so shortsighted to target our most vulnerable & traumatised children. #adoption
