My OG, 999-NFT collection "The Beardy Punks" @BeardyPunks on Ethereum that I entirely designed, coded, and deployed (smart contract + genArt engine) in 2022, had completely disappeared from Opensea.
I sent them an email, and they quickly resurfaced it.
Thanks @opensea.

Join the renewed @swissvc_ Board
SwissVC is renewing its Board with active venture professionals (GPs, Partners, Principals, and Senior Associates) who want to help shape the agenda, strengthen the ecosystem, and contribute to a practitioner-led organisation.
https://t.co/VPIMmCkctS 👈
We are looking to onboard GPs and younger investors because @swissvc_ needs both institutional depth and generational renewal.
GPs bring the perspective of people who have already built firms, raised funds, managed teams, and navigated full cycles. They understand governance, fund architecture, portfolio construction, DPI pressure, and the realities of decision-making at the firm level. That experience is essential if SwissVC wants to be where people shape standards.
Younger investors matter for a different reason. They are often closer to the sharpest new workflows, newer fund models, and the day-to-day operating realities of new and emerging firms. They bring energy, and a stronger connection to how the next generation of Swiss venture talent thinks and works.
If SwissVC is going to stay relevant, it cannot be built only around legacy experience. The balance matters ! Apply to join our board on https://t.co/VPIMmCkctS
Why the @swissvc_ governance is being reset.
SwissVC is also renewing its board and formally registering as a Swiss non-profit association. This matters because the structure of a community should match the renewed mission. If the ambition is to create a high-trust peer network for active investors with active members across all the roles, then governance needs to reflect that.
The new board model is being rebuilt to welcome established GPs, mid-career principals, and younger investors who are actively shaping the Swiss venture landscape. That mix is important because a healthy community needs both experience and renewal. It needs institutional memory, as well as fresh energy and perspective.
Board participation is not symbolic. It requires active involvement, including chairing or co-chairing one of the guilds and contributing to its output. That is the right standard for a network that wants to create real value. Governance should not sit above the work, it should be part of the work.

Ok but @mynameisyahia is already derisked as a solo-founder:
"Co-founder at https://t.co/uVsIdgZgDu (acquired), scaled to 225K+ users, 100K+ daily notifications"....
I got into YC S26 as a solo founder!
The last 15 months looked something like this:
> Started an API company from scratch
> Realized building infrastructure is insanely hard
> Grew slowly for months
> Then all at once
> Reached 210 paying customers
> Landed 10 unicorns + 70 VC-backed startups
> Started telling customers "not yet" because I couldn't afford to build everything they wanted
> Wait, I actually need funding
> Applied to YC
> Rejected
> Doubled revenue
> Applied again
Today I'm in.
To all my customers who trusted me when I was just some random dude from the internet, thank you.
