Just caught someone on their cell phone while driving. Driver told me it was my fault she was on her phone because she needed to get to the police station but due to construction, she couldn't find the main doors. @reginapolice

@IGY6911 @reginapolice I totally understand your view point. It's something I've always done just so no one can day I'm being biased. If they can't or its after hours, that's on them. But everyone gets a chance if available.

Just caught a learner driver, driving by herself, in an unregistered vehicle, taking selfies while driving. She also had her new born baby in the back seat. $1310 in fines but allowed her to renew the plates on scene to avoid her vehicle being towed. @reginapolice

PSD Nixon - thank you for your service.

Recently retired, PSD Nixon passed away this week with his handler by his side. Nixon served the citizens of Regina from 2012-2021.

Nixon lived to put smiles on the faces of those he served. Rest easy, boy. #CanineUnit

Both Jaeger and Nixon died of natural causes after exceptional careers with the RPS. Our thoughts are with their handlers and families, Cst. Sabo and Cst. Fox.

Just caught a driver on his phone in a company vehicle. It was the 2nd time in 12 months he was caught on his cell phone. Driver issued $1400 fine and vehicle impounded for 7 days. @reginapolice

@AustinMckee12 I heard from the constable that recovered it. So happy they were able find it and return it to you. Gonna be one heck of a story to tell the kids/grandkids!
