تدين وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين بأشدّ العبارات الهجوم الإرهابي الذي وقع في مدينة سيدني الأسترالية، والذي أسفر عن سقوط عدد من الضحايا والمصابين.

تؤكد الوزارة تضامن ��ولة فلسطين الكامل ووقوفها إلى جانب أستراليا الصديقة، حكومةً وشعبًا، في هذا المصاب الأليم، مجددةً رفضها القاطع لكافة أشكال العنف والإرهاب والتطرف، التي تتعارض مع القيم الإنسانية والمبادئ الأخلاقية، ومع تعاليم الأديان السماوية كافة التي تدعو إلى السلام، واحترام الحياة الإنسانية، ونبذ الكراهية والتطرف.

وتتقدم الوزارة بأصدق مشاعر التعازي والمواساة إلى حكومة وشعب أستراليا، وإلى أسر الضحايا في هذا الهجوم الاثم، متمنيةً الشفاء العاجل للمصابين.

At this time of the year in Palestine we collect our olives, we gather as families and friends , an exceptional joy that we continue to be proud of, part of our history & identity, a special tradition that is a symbol of our love for our land

On this day, 108 years ago, at the stroke of a colonial pen, the 67 word Balfour Declaration was issued promising our land away, reducing our existence to “non-Jewish communities”, and triggering the ethnic cleansing of Palestine and the ongoing Nakba and dispossession of the Palestinian people.

108 years later, we remain rooted in our land, certain that no declaration made or crime committed can erase our presence on our land.

It is long overdue to recognize, apologize, reparate, and end this historic injustice that befell a colonized, captive, and oppressed people.

Yesterday we unveiled the new plaque at our Embassy in 🇵🇹 to mark the historic & courageous decision of 🇵🇹 to recognise the STATE OF PALESTINE as a sovereign & independent State with full rights! A decision that we will always mark and celebrate with prideand deep appreciation!
