An op-ed for state news agency RIA Novosti titled "What Russia should do with Ukraine" by pundit Timofei Sergeitsev has created quite a stir today
The rhetoric is truly horrific, even by the standards of what I'm used to seeing from pro-Kremlin media
Below are a few quotes:
Stepan was 2 years old when his home, to the North of Kyiv, was hit by a #Russian missile - a possible #warcrime.
His family gave us these photos. His Dad Oleg told us Stepan went to bed with new sheets because he wanted ones with stars on them. He never woke up. #Ukraine
With #Ukrainian forces now in control of areas outside of #Kyiv, more possible #Rusia war crimes are coming to light - like the family home hit by a missile, burying a two-year boy under the rubble.

"Don’t worry. We are here to cleanse you from the dirt.”
For this @hrw report, I've documented grave abuses by Russian soldiers. Cases of unspeakable cruelty and violence against Ukrainian civilians, including summary executions and sexual violence.

This is Olena with her 5-year-old twins, Nazar and Timur. All three were blinded when a bomb fell on their home near Dnipro in eastern Ukraine. It took them seven days to reach Poland, where they received sight saving surgery. My report is running all day on @BBCNews@BBCWorld

Ukrainian soldiers and militiamen carry a woman in a wheelchair as the artillery echoes nearby, while people fleeing Irpin on the outskirts of Kyiv, Ukraine, Monday, March 7, 2022.
Pure horror: Russian soldiers are deliberately killing Ukrainian civilians trying to flee. A mother & 2 children were killed and father wounded by a mortar shell as hundreds of civilians sought safety. @nytimes photographer Lynsey Addario witnessed it. https://t.co/aDdkZt321B
3. @nytimes editors have made an important decision to put the photo by @lynseyaddario on the home page. Again, Russian forces fired mortar shells at hundreds of Ukrainian civilians as they fled. A mother and her two children were killed here. This is happening across Ukraine.
